Bible Way to Heaven

Can you really go to Heaven?

God’s Word (the Bible) clearly explains that existence does not end with physical death.

Hebrews 9:27 says:
“… it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

The Bible also explains that there is a way to go to Heaven when you die.

Please carefully consider these four facts-

1. You have broken God’s perfect law.

The Bible says in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

No one is without sin. James 2:10 says:
“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

No matter how good you consider yourself to be, you are still a sinner, guilty before God.

2. There is a penalty for your sin.

The Bible says in Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death…”

Not only are you a sinner, but there is a penalty for your sin. God is completely righteous. He cannot allow sin into Heaven. God’s Holiness demands that sin be paid for. The penalty for sin is spending eternity separated from God in a real place of fiery torment.

Revelation 21:8 says:
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Because of your sin you are headed for an eternal separation from God in a real place of fiery torment.

3. Jesus Christ paid the penalty of your sin and made a way for you to go to Heaven.

Jesus Christ is “… God…manifest in the flesh…” (I Timothy 3:16). He came to this earth to provide a way for you to go to Heaven.

The Bible says in Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Jesus Christ paid the penalty of your sin when He shed His pure blood and died on the cross. After He died, Jesus Christ rose from the dead.

Matthew 28:6 says:
“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus Christ made it possible for you to escape hell and spend forever in Heaven. Heaven is a free gift offered to you.

The Bible says in Romans 6:23-
“…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

There is one thing, however, that must happen in order for you to be able to take possession of this gift.

4. You must accept Jesus Christ by faith as your Savior in order to receive eternal life.

The Bible says in Acts 16:31-
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved…”

You can go to Heaven when you die! All you must do is make the heart decision to place your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.

The Bible says in Romans 10:9-10-
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Head knowledge of the facts will not save you; there must be a time when you place all of your trust in Jesus Christ and accept Him by faith as the only way to go to Heaven. God promises to save anyone who asks Him for salvation.

Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you realize that you are a sinner deserving hell, but that Jesus Christ died for you and rose from the dead, then why not accept Jesus Christ as your Savior today?

You can do this right now by sincerely praying something like this from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner deserving of Hell. I believe that you died for my sin and rose from the dead. I am accepting you as my Savior right now. Lord Jesus please save me from Hell and take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you for the free gift of salvation.”

If you just accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, the Bible says that you will go to Heaven when you die!

I John 5:12 says:
“He that hath the Son (the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior) hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”
